Garlic and honey to lift the spirits
Mix 150g garlic, 150g honey, apple cider vinegar and distilled water in equal parts. Chop the garlic and place in a jar with vinegar and distilled water to leave it in a cool dark place for about two days. Strain the preparation and add the honey. Mix and take a spoonful before each meal.

Homemade Energy Drink
A good option is an energy drink. Mix an orange, a slice of pineapple, 1/2 banana, a tablespoon wheat germ, then blend everything and put ice to take it whenever you want.

Herbal tea and lemon
This tea improves mood and combats depression.

Sneezing (no joke)
Induce sneezes with a pen. Doing this makes the lungs expand and mind. Increases our oxygen and we can think more clearly.

Fruit juice and Passionflower
750ml mineral water, 200g grapes, 1 apple, 1 lemon, two teaspoons of passionflower tea (passion fruit plant). Make a smoothie with grape, apple, lemon and mixed with mineral water and passionflower tea. Keep the drink in the refrigerator and take it during the day.

Alternative activities
Take a few minutes a day to paint, play an instrument, listening to classical music, writing or any other activity that clears the mind, and find it easy to perform, the latter is important.

Getting enough rest
Sleeping at least 8 hours. Often depression is due to lack of sleep. People who sleep less than 8 hours tend to have fewer serotonin, which is what makes the brain regulate mood.

Outdoor exercises
Regular exercise can lift your mood, especially if it done in a natural environment. Make at least 20 minutes of aerobic exercise (walking, cycling, boxing classes or Tai Kuondo), at least three times a week.
